What is Lewis University? A Comprehensive Overview

Lewis University is a comprehensive Catholic university located 35 miles southwest of downtown Chicago. It is a liberal arts institution that contains the faculties of Arts & Science, Business, Education and Nursing. The Princeton Review has named Lewis one of the best universities in the Midwest, and it is one of 60 universities in the world sponsored by De La Salle Christian Brothers. Lewis is an NCAA Division II school that is part of the Great Lakes Valley Conference and the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association. Lewis University offers one of the most recognized pre-professional biology courses in the Midwest, with a good acceptance rate at a professional school preferred by students.

It has been cited by both US News and The Princeton Review among the top regional universities in the Midwest.
